Mallards, Midsomer Norton is a truly mixed use venue, which caters for a wide range of people within the local community. It has a wonderful garden and paved drinking area to the front of the property which includes a children's play area and overlooks the high street. This is best utilised in the summer months when people can a take a break from their day, relax in the sunshine and people watch to pass the time.
Opening at 11am every morning it caters for shoppers, business people and locals by serving freshly ground coffee, a selection of teas and freshly baked pastries. Food is now served from 11am until 3pm and then again from 6pm until 9pm on Monday and all day from 11am to 9pm Tuesday - Thursday. On Friday and Saturday food is served throughout the day from 11am until 6pm, and Sunday from 11am until 6pm, with the addition of a great 'home cooked' Sunday Roast.
There is a comprehensive main menu which offers 2 for £10 on all main meals, as well as a Lite Bites Menu and Children’s Menu.
Being located prominently on the High Street, it is in an enviable position for the weekend trade. Opening late until 1am Friday and Saturday night it provides a safe and fun environment to let your hair down and dance the night away, being entertained by the in house DJ.
